Conveyancing

This is the word used for transfer or purchase or sale of a house, piece of land or business premises.
In Ireland, it is done by Solicitors, who check that the property being transferred has no flaws, ie that the boundaries are accurate, and that the person who says he owns the property really does own it.
We also deal with the mortgaging of the property if you are getting a loan to buy it. Mortgaging means that the bank will lend you money to buy the property, but if you fail to keep paying the monthly repayments, they have the right to sell it to a third party. They will then keep what is owed to them and give the mortgagor(owner) the balance.

We, at Irwin Solicitors, realise that the process of buying a house is something most poeple do only once or twice a lifetime and that it is a complex procedure which requires to be made as simple as possible.
We will guide you at all stages from placing of deposit to the picking up of the keys.
We will communicate with you regularly on all developments and keep you fully updated on the closing date.
Your fees will be set out in writing to you at the start of the transaction and a statement furnished at the end.
We look forward to receiving your call or email for a quote.
